WAVE: No Live Audio with NVR

Issue: Cannot enable live audio from NVR within WAVE. Enable Audio checkbox is disabled.

 

Solution:  Audio has not been configured correctly within the camera and/or NVR for usage with WAVE.

 

  1. In the camera web browser interface, enable Audio in for the Primary stream.

 

2. In the camera web browser interface, enable Audio in for the Secondary stream.

 

3. Ensure that audio settings are applied correctly in the Audio setup page of the camera web interface.

 

4. In the NVR web browser, Device > Camera > Channel Setup, select the channel where the desired camera is registered to and enable Audio On.

 

Note: 

If the NVR has already been registered to WAVE, you must de-register and re-register the NVR. Afterward, check "Enable Audio" and click "Apply".
