In an effort to maintain standards, Hanwha Techwin America uses the web UI for all knowledge base articles pertaining to product configuration. Open Chrome, enter the IP Address of your device into the URL bar, and press enter. If you are not using the web UI to configure your device, please refer to the user manual for your product.
Summary:
If you need to default a camera to wipe bad programming selections from a network camera. The following steps will allow defaulting the camera while logged into its web interface. This article will assume the unit is properly connected and powered.
Step By Step Guide:
1. Log in to the camera in question
NOTE: If you do not know the credentials, you will need to reset the device
physically at the device, click >Here< for the article
2. Click on the gear in the center top of the interface (Figure 1)

4. On the left-hand sidebar, select System (Figure 2)

5. Select Upgrade Restart under the System menu (Figure 3)

6. Click the Reset button (Figure 4)
NOTE: You can choose to default the camera completely, or retain
the IP information, by checking the Except Network Parameter
box shown in Figure 4, this option can retain open platform
applications on certain models

Note: While this procedure will erase any setup parameters performed by the
installer, and return the camera to a factory default state,
no recorded information on the Micro SD cards will be lost, if the user needs
to remove the data in Micro SD cards, the user will have to perform
SD card format from the Storage menu under the Event tab
